Meeting of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Director of Federal Bureau of Investigation

 On November 6, 2018,the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Yusuf Rahmon metwith the Director of Federal Bureau of InvestigationChristopher Wray.

During the meeting issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Prosecutor General’s Office and FBI in the field of fighting against crime, especially organized crime, cross-border terrorism and extremism and the coordination of relevant treaty and legal acts were discussed.At the same time, the United States expressed its gratitude for cooperation in the process of investigation of the terrorist attack, which occurred on July 29, 2018 in Tajikistan.

The Prosecutor General and FBI Director expressed their willingness to strengthen and develop cooperation between two agencies.
